Who is Hitler?

 Adolf Hitler 1889 1945 was a German politician and the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party commonly known as the Nazi Party. He was the Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and, after President Paul von Hindenburgs death he declared himself the Führer leader consolidating both the Chancellor and President roles into one centralizing his power.

Hitler in World War II

Hitler is infamous for his role in instigating World War II which resulted in the deaths of millions of people including six million Jews in the Holocaust. He pursued an aggressive expansionist policy seeking to establish a Greater German Empire by annexing neighboring countries.

Hitlers leadership

Under Hitlers leadership the Nazi regime implemented discriminatory laws against Jews and other minority groups leading to persecution segregation and ultimately the extermination of millions in concentration camps. This genocide known as the Holocaust remains one of the darkest and most horrific chapters in human history.

Anti Semitic ideology

Hitler was a charismatic and skilled orator using propaganda and mass rallies to gain popular support for his nationalist and anti Semitic ideology. He promoted an extreme form of nationalism racial purity and anti Semitism believing in the superiority of the Aryan race and the need to eliminate inferior races to secure the future of the German people.

The war led by Hitler and the Nazi regime resulted in immense suffering destruction and loss of life. The war ended with Germanys defeat in 1945 and Hitler facing the prospect of capture chose to commit suicide in his underground bunker in Berlin.
