Who is a Iqbal?

 Allama Iqbal full name Muhammad Iqbal was a renowned philosopher poet and politician in British India. He is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in Urdu and Persian literature and is often referred to as Allama Iqbal which means The Learned Iqbal. He was born on November 9 1877 in Sialkot which is now in Pakistan and he passed away on April 21 1938.

Iqbal's Poetry

Iqbals poetry written primarily in Persian and Urdu is known for its philosophical depth and its emphasis on selfdiscovery spirituality and the revival of the Islamic spirit. He played a significant role in inspiring the Muslim community of the Indian subcontinent to strive for independence from British colonial rule.

Iqbal's Idea 

Iqbals ideas and poetry also played a pivotal role in the intellectual and political development of Pakistan. He is considered one of the key thinkers behind the concept of Pakistan as a separate homeland for Muslims which ultimately led to the creation of Pakistan in 1947.

His notable works include the Persian poetry collection Asrar-e-Khudi Secrets of the Self and the Urdu poetry collection Bang e Dra The Call of the Marching Bell. Allama Iqbals contributions to literature philosophy and the independence movement have left a lasting legacy in South Asia and continue to be studied and celebrated to this day.
